When Alex and I started Prelude, we had a vision of solving “Calendar Tetris” and supercharging recruiting coordination. We felt this pain first hand as hiring managers and wanted to support our own recruiting team to deliver a better experience to our candidates. 

Fast forward a few years and the Prelude product now supports millions of interviews a year across hundreds of the fastest-growing and most inspiring companies in the world.

With this acquisition, Prelude becomes a core part of the Calendly platform for recruiting teams. Our leading recruiting operations platform will continue to grow in combination with Calendly’s seamless scheduling automation platform.

We’re incredibly honored to be joining Calendly, which helps millions of people around the globe schedule better. Over 10 million users and 50,000 companies from small businesses to enterprises trust Calendly to close deals, build relationships, and grow their business — faster.

Another reason for my excitement is the values and leadership at Calendly. Like us, the Calendly team is customer-obsessed. We share an enthusiasm for building simple and delightful solutions to frustrating and complex problems. 

What does this mean for customers?  Today, your service won’t change in any way. Prelude will continue to exist and grow with the support of the Calendly team and platform. The Prelude team will be moving over to Calendly to continue building the best recruiting coordination solution out there. Your CSM and Support team will stay in place, and our investments in product and customer success will grow in the coming months.
